How do I install TradeMate?
- Download and run the TradeMate Setup file.
- Follow the installation instructions as per the installation setup wizard.
- Once the installation has completed, you will be asked to licence the application.
- From the Licensing Screen, please cut and paste the Site Code into an email addressed to
- Leave the Licensing status Screen open until you receive a response. Your response will include a Key. Once received, please cut and paste the Key into the Licensing Status Screen and click “Authorise”.
- Close the application and restart by clicking through on Start>Programs>TradeMate
- The TSA Initial Load screen will appear advising that you have not yet performed an Initial Data Load. The Initial Data Load is the current complete materials database which needs to be uploaded into the application.
How do I update TradeMate with an initial load?
- Download the Initial Load file by clicking on the “Website” button.
- After downloading, Run the Initial Load file by double-clicking the zip file
- A winzip self extracting screen will appear. The default location that the file will be unzipped to is c:\program files\trademate\update (please change this if you have installed Trademate on a different drive or directory)
- After the file has been unzipped, close down the winzip program.
- Return to the TSA Initial Load Screen and click on the “Update” button
- Select the Initial Load file after navigating to the directory where you installed it in step 3 above.
- Once you have selected the file, a Confirmation screen will ask “Warning, this will overwrite your existing material library. Are you sure you wish to do this?” Click the “Yes” button to proceed.
- The Initial Load will process and will take 5-15mins, depending on your computer.
- Once this process has been completed, you are ready to put together your first quote. Please refer to the Help Tab within the application and click through on Help>Help Contents>Your first Quote
